Job Description:
To grow & build-up Huatai’s long-term international strategic and business initiatives covering functional areas spanning the front-to-back offices by implementing & supporting the market leading-edge technology platforms.
- Deploy, maintain, monitor and enhance security technologies such as Firewalls, IPS, Proxy, WAF, EDR, DDOS mitigation, Network Access Control.
- Responsible for the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support and optimization of network infrastructure.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of firewall/proxy/WAF rules and configurations.
- Implement and maintain VPN solutions to ensure secure remote access for users.
- Monitor network performance and security, troubleshooting issues as they arise. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure network integrity.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis to identify potential threats.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical documentation, security policies, procedures, and incidents.
- Work with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the network.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teammates, encouraging continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Occasionally work in non-office hour on changes, maintenance and/or incident handling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in network security operation and design, implementation projects, and troubleshooting.
- Professional qualification on network and security (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, CEH, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or similar) is preferred.
- Proven experience in firewall, VPN and network administration.
- Experience in other network security solutions (e.g. Proxy, WAF, EDR, DDOS mitigation, SIEM).
- Experience troubleshooting transport protocols (TCP/UDP).
- Experience with switching, routing and network protocols (e.g. spanning-tree, trunking, VPC, OSPF, BGP).
- Proficiency with networking and security products and solutions such as Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Sangfor, Imperva, Cisco, Huawei.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Good knowledge of automation skills e.g. Ansible, Python is a plus.
- Experience with cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, Alibaba) is a plus.
- Familiar with ITIL IT Service Management framework.
- Fluent in written and speaking Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and independently.
