Job Description: Licensed Outpatient Therapist-Specialty Focus: First Responders
About TLC Wellness
TLC Wellness is an outpatient behavioral health practice committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals and families across the lifespan. Our work is rooted in the belief that mental health care should be accessible, human-centered, and deeply connected to the communities we serve.
TLC Wellness is a mission-driven nonprofit outpatient practice focused on meaningful, sustainable clinical work. We believe therapists do their best work when they are supported, respected, and given autonomy in their clinical approach. We prioritize sustainable caseload expectations and thoughtful care rather than productivity-driven models.
TLC Wellness was built intentionally as a mission-driven program focused on quality care, clinician sustainability, and meaningful relationships with our clients and community partners. We believe strong clinical work happens when therapists are supported, respected, and empowered to practice thoughtfully.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for clinicians who share our passion for building something meaningful - not just filling a role, but helping shape the future of a program designed to serve our community with integrity and excellence.
Position Overview
As an Outpatient Therapist at TLC Wellness, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to individuals, families, and children across a range of presenting concerns. Clinicians conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions that support meaningful clinical progress.
We value clinicians who are thoughtful, curious, and committed to continued professional growth.
As the practice grows, there is an opportunity for the right clinician to help develop specialized programming in this area, including groups, community partnerships, and expanded clinical services.
Core Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans based on client goals and clinical presentation.
• Provide evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to client needs.
• Maintain a consistent outpatient caseload with an expected productivity of approximately 28 completed sessions per week.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as clinically indicated.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families to support treatment progress.
• Collaborate with other providers, schools, and community partners when appropriate.
• Participate in team consultation and professional development opportunities.
Specialty Opportunity – First Responder Mental Health
