Support Medication Safety for Hospitals Across Southwest Florida
LeeSar and Cooperative Services of Florida (CSF) are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations within our Central Pharmacy Distribution Center.
In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to accurately fill, prepare, and deliver medications to partner hospitals. What You’ll Do
Medication Preparation & Distribution
- Fill hospital Pyxis orders using pharmacy software with high accuracy
- Assist with medication repackaging, picking, and preparation for delivery
- Operate unit-dose packaging and pharmacy distribution equipment
- Prepare, secure, and load delivery totes for transport
- Serve as backup driver for medication deliveries when needed
Inventory & Compliance
- Perform inventory control, including monitoring for expired medications
- Support returns and proper disposal procedures
- Ensure secure handling of medications at all stages
- Follow established fulfillment procedures and double-check for accuracy
- Maintain compliance with all Florida licensure requirements
Customer Service & Team Collaboration
- Communicate professionally with hospital partners, vendors, and internal teams
- Demonstrate a team-oriented attitude and positive work ethic
- Support pharmacy leadership in achieving daily distribution goals
- Identify opportunities for workflow improvement
Education:
What You Bring
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license
- Completion of required continuing education
Preferred:
- One year of pharmacy technician experience
- Board-certified pharmacy technician program completion
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
