What You’ll Do 

In this role, you can expect to lead quality initiatives that directly impact aircraft performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll collaborate with different departments, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards. If you're passionate about aviation and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, this is your opportunity to elevate your career. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): 

  • Quality Systems Development: Create and update quality procedures to align with current practices and regulatory requirements 

  • Audit & Regulatory Compliance: Lead FAA and government audits, investigations, and corrective actions to ensure compliance and prevent recurrence 

  • Data Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyze performance metrics such as scrap, defects, and rework to identify trends and drive cross-functional improvement initiatives 

  • Supplier & Production Audits: Conduct audits across internal teams and external suppliers to ensure product and process integrity 

  • Issue Prioritization & Resolution: Address quality concerns based on customer impact, coordinating across disciplines to implement effective solutions 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, supply chain, and customer service teams to enhance quality and operational efficiency 

What you need to be successful: 

  • Engineering or STEM degree plus 2 years of quality/manufacturing experience 
    (OR) 7 years of aviation quality experience with a technical degree, associate’s degree, or A&P license 

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills 

  • Experience with AS9100, ISO9001, NADCAP, and special processing 

  • Familiarity with tools like PFMEA, Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical techniques 

  • ASQ certifications and project management experience are a plus
