Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Technician to join our team. The Industrial Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and systems. This role plays a vital part in ensuring production efficiency, safety compliance, and the reliability of machinery used in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and electrical components.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

  • Operate tools and diagnostic equipment to identify problems and ensure proper system functionality.

  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Document maintenance activities, repair work, and parts usage.

  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to optimize equipment performance.

  • Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians when needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.

  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testing equipment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various industrial environments.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.

  • Welding, fabrication, or machining skills.

  • OSHA or other safety training certifications.

Work Environment

  • Industrial setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.

  • May require overtime, shift work, or on-call availability.
