We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving customer challenges, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience from quote to invoice.
What you'll do
As an Account Manager, you are a point of contact for our customers, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and follow-through at every stage of the order process.
Customer Experience & Relationship Management
- Serve as the customer contact from initial quote through order completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal partners
- Respond to customer requests with urgency and professionalism
- Ensure customer expectations are met—or exceeded—on every interaction
Order, Quote, & Sales Support
- Accurately process quotes, sales orders, returns, and purchasing transactions through our ERP system
- Coordinate closely with outside sales representatives to support customer needs and opportunities
- Review open order reports daily and proactively resolve issues
- Estimate delivery dates based on production and logistics schedules
- Stay current on new products, inventory availability, market conditions, and industry trends
Collaboration & Administration
- Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and accounting teams
- Provide accurate customer data to Accounts Receivable
- Maintain CRM activity, calendars, and multiple customer engagement platforms
- Represent Belt Power professionally at all times
What you bring
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Solid math, computer, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A team-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- In-office clerical setting using standard office equipment
- Primarily sedentary role with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, stand, and access files as needed
Schedule & Position Type
- Full-time, in-office position
- Monday–Friday work schedule
- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required
- Some travel may be required for business development, customer sites, installs, or training
