Job Description
- Maintain and enhance LNG and shipping databases for data accuracy and integrity.
- Collect, validate, and analyze market data for editorial content and client deliverables.
- Prepare and publish daily LNG and shipping market data reports.
- Manage Tableau visualizations for subscription products.
- Develop and improve SQL-based datasets and data models.
- Automate manual data workflows using Python or related tools.
- Provide analytical support to internal teams, producing ad-hoc market analyses.
- Develop relationships with LNG industry participants for market data gathering.
- Attend industry conferences and events as required.
- Ensure a high level of data quality and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation.
- Familiarity with Python for data automation and analysis.
- Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
- Practical data cleaning and validation skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
- Interest or experience in energy markets, with LNG knowledge preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, managing priorities.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
