If you’re eager for your next opportunity, Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step.   The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for operating an order-picker to retrieve and ship stocked merchandise to fulfill customer orders that are shipped via various freight line carriers.   This is a Day shift position: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.   You will: Operate an order/cherry picker to retrieve stock Prepare orders for shipping Stack and wrap merchandise on pallets. Check the packing list against the merchandise for accuracy. Inspect merchandise for damage. Load palletized merchandise on various freight line carriers’ trucks. Manage shipping vendor returns. Maintain records of outbound shipments Frequently inspect material handling equipment to report any mechanical issues. You have: Ability to learn and operate ERP system. Ability to operate and complete a tow motor, order/cherry-picker, and electric pallet jack. Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs; ability to pull 2200 lbs using a pallet jack and pull or push 200 lbs using a two-wheeler. Ability to stand and be in motion at all times. Flexible enough to walk, twist, bend, stoop, pull, grip and lift merchandise. Warehouse experience preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required
