POSITION SUMMARY: SVP Worldwide is looking for an Email & SMS Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic E-Commerce team. This role will focus on creating, executing, and optimizing email and SMS marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, increase conversions, sessions, and support business growth. The ideal candidate will be creative, data-driven, and experienced in email and SMS marketing across multiple brands in a global corporate environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and Execute Email & SMS Campaigns:
- Build emails and SMS messages from templates, write copy, coordinate assets, perform QA, and schedule deliveries.
- Ensure mobile-friendly email and SMS templates, leveraging graphics, personalization, and advanced features to enhance the user experience.
- Use customer data, including web behavior, to personalize content and drive relevant messaging.
- Develop targeted segments for both email and SMS campaigns to maximize engagement and revenue performance in alignment with KPI goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and email/SMS marketing regulations.
Optimization & Innovation:
- Regularly research and implement best practices and innovative email and SMS marketing tactics, focusing on customer acquisition, nurturing, and retention.
- Conduct A/B tests, track results, and recommend optimizations to improve campaign performance.
- Manage email and SMS frequency to minimize unsubscribes while balancing promotional, triggered, educational and transactional communications.
Email & SMS Calendar Management:
- Manage and execute the email and SMS marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with overall e-commerce sales strategies.
- Regularly collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, providing marketing updates and insights during weekly sales meetings.
- Analyze trends, report on performance, and provide recommendations for future campaigns to drive sales and improve brand visibility.
Customer Lifecycle Support:
- Support strategic programs by executing manual and triggered campaigns for various customer lifecycle stages, including prospecting, win-back, post-purchase, loyalty, and transactional emails/SMS.
- Provide regular campaign performance reports, including metrics such as sessions, click rates, conversions, revenue, and unsubscribes, and suggest improvements based on data insights.
Creative Optimization & Partnerships:
- Partner with external design agencies to ensure email and SMS creative are optimized for high-quality content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure creative content for both email and SMS aligns with brand standards and customer expectations.
REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, or Journalism concentration) from accredited college or university
- 2+ years of email marketing experience, ideally within a global corporate setting, with a proven track record of managing multiple brands and adapting to different brand voices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint, and email marketing tools (experience with Klaviyo required and Canva preferred).

- Excellent copywriting, interpersonal, and social skills.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights for optimization.
- Strong multitasking abilities, with excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Works well both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- High level of professionalism and experience in public speaking and client-facing interactions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Required to retrieve or reposition products like sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION/FLEX ARRANGEMENT:
- SVP Worldwide offers a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. This position will be hybrid – willingness to commute to our office location a minimum of three (3) days a week and work remotely from a home office the other days.
- The worker is subject to being in front of a computer and on the phone throughout the day.
