Cross-Border Midwest Short-Haul Owner-Operator

$3000 Sign on Bonus, Get Paid On Time. Every Time !

Primarily running open-board Canada/U.S. in Ontario, Quebec, and the Midwest U.S. This position requires you to be on the road 5 to 7 days at a time and average 2,500 miles per week.  Candidates must be eligible for a FAST card.

• Must be willing to drive in all Canadian Provinces and U.S. States to support varying customer and freight requirements
• Must be willing to drive in the Northeast U.S. if required
• Regional freight will be required
• Required to drive Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year
• Ability to pull refrigerated freight if available
• Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol

Candidate Profile:

• Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
• Tractor must be equipped with a working DEF system
• Bunk truck required
• Must be U.S. qualified
• Must be eligible for a Fast card
• Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Values safety
