Marsh Advisory team is seeking candidates for an empathetic, well-spoken professional to join our Claims Solutions Advocacy team based in Santo Domingo- República Dominicana
Sr. Claims Advocate (Full Time / Hybrid)

- The Senior Claims Advocate will work with internal and external business partners to ensure that our clients receive assistance, guidance, and advocacy throughout the lifecycle of their claims. Responsible for providing customer service and supporting clients during the claim process, this position requires a highly technical an experienced Senior Claims Advocate responsible for managing medium and complex claims independently and with minimal supervision.
- The Senior Claims Advocate is responsible for carrier/client collaboration and advocacy of commercial lines claims, determining plans of action and/or claims management expectations. Works directly with multiple insurance company representatives and clients to manage claims on all lines of commercial insurance coverages.
- While the Senior Claims Advocate is primarily responsible for management of claim issues on behalf of our clients, they are also expected to support the overall office goals regarding new business and client stewardship. The Senior Claims Advocate will understand the needs of the client and proactively provide a service that creates efficiencies, compliance, and adds value to the overall client relationship.

We will count on you to:
- Analyze loss situation and develop the strategic path in order to provide solutions to clients.
- Assist clients with claims handling and support as needed, using negotiation skills to provide best possible outcome.
- Provide initial and on-going advocacy on claims including detailed policy analysis, interpretation, consultation and negotiation of coverage.
- Ability to successfully negotiate the settlement and disposition of claims including the ability to interpret related documentation.
- Meet with clients and internal colleagues to provide analysis, interpretation and recommendations regarding client loss information.
- Respond to clients regarding coverage, exposure, and settlement questions.
- Review claim determinations received from adjusters for compliance with policy conditions.
What you need to have:
- 5+ years of claims management experience
- Litigation Management: Navigating first-party litigation, managing external legal counsel
- Analytical and Investigative Skills: Reviewing complex forensic engineering, fire or structural reports
- Negotiation and Advocacy Skills: Acting as an objective, professional voice for policyholders during high-stakes settlement meetings.
- Strategic Influence: Persuading underwriters or claims managers to rethink coverage positions.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Excellent English communication skills are mandatory
