The Telecommunications Rep will serve as the first point of contact for patients, physicians, and the public, providing phone support, appointment coordination, and general information. Delivers exceptional customer service while managing high call volumes and ensuring accurate communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Call Handling & Scheduling: Screen and route calls, provide information, and schedule, confirm, or cancel appointments using established protocols, including after-hours support.
- Physician Answering Service: Triage calls for physicians, take and relay messages, and initiate paging or conference calls as needed.
- Emergency Response: Support emergency communications by executing notification procedures and documenting incoming calls.
- Quality & Training: Maintain high-quality service standards, meet performance metrics, and participate in ongoing training and team collaboration.

What you’ll need for this job:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 1 year of job related experience
Strong communication, customer service, and data-entry accuracy skills.
Required: Demonstrated customer service excellence
Preferred: Fluency in 2nd language
(Polish or Spanish) Preferred: Call Center and/or Healthcare experience
Compensation:
Pay Range: $15.76- $22.11 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
