Substitute 2026-2027

Lexington County School District One partners with Kelly Education for substitute teachers and substitute paraprofessionals positions.

Substitute Teacher Rates of Pay:
High School Diploma: $95 per day
Four-Year Degree: $100 per day
Certified Teacher: $110 per day
 

Substitute Paraprofessional Rate of Pay:
$10.62/hour for instructional assistants, custodial, or food services

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have proof of education (minimal requirement is HS diploma/GED)
• Must complete TB Skin Test (negative result)
• Must complete Training and Orientation
• Must be at least 21 years of age*
