Successful applicants will be fully trained and Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and Oncology and interested in developing a career in general hematology/oncology with a focus on clinical care and education.

The Division of Medical Oncology, Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) a 673-bed major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School is seeking a full-time Community Oncologist at the Instructor level to join the Lank Cancer Center in Needham, MA. Needham houses a state-of-the-art facility with on-site radiation therapy and multi-disciplinary clinics. The successful candidate will build a practice in community hematology/oncology at the Cancer Center in Needham. The candidate will also develop a sub-specialty focus in a specific disease program, in addition to providing general oncology and hematology care.

Pay Range:

$215,000 - $520,000

The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
