Position Purpose
As our Schematic Performance Analyst, you will create, maintain, and execute store schematics and product assortments while supporting stores, Category Managers, and Category Analysts with accurate data to drive sales, margins, and the customer experience.

What You’ll Do & How You’ll Make a Difference
• Collaborate with Category Managers and Category Analysts to create store schematics that position new and existing items by category strategy.
• Create store schematics to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with space management guidelines.
• Determine product placement and shelf positioning to enhance the in‑store shopping experience.
• Upload and manage schematic versions by store segmentation to meet reporting and execution timelines.
• Partner with the CAO team to maintain appropriate capacity levels within schematics.
• Coordinate category initiatives and reset projects while serving as the schematic point of contact.
• Work with vendors and internal partners to schedule and support reset activities.
• Generate reports, reset instructions, schematics, and sign‑off documentation for store execution.
• Support reset teams during live resets by answering questions and providing guidance.
• Maintain product information in the Apollo database, including adding and deleting items.
• Travel to store locations to validate merchandising execution and schematic accuracy.
• Analyze sales, inventory, movement, and space‑to‑sales data to support merchandising decisions.
• Recommend assortment and space allocation improvements to drive sales and margins.
• Conduct in‑depth analysis of assigned merchandise categories to support performance goals.
• Partner with vendors as needed to support category initiatives.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and three (3) years of retail grocery experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Excel
Preferred Experience
• Shelf management systems such as Apollo and/or JDA

Work Environment

The posted range reflects expected pay; actual compensation is based on location, education, training, experience, and other bona fide factors.
