Horse Powertrain Limited is an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero.

Horse Powertrain has 19,000 dedicated and determined employees, working in 17 manufacturing plants, and 5 R&D centers on three continents. This role is employed by Horse Powertrain and is based in Bursa, Turkiye, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

  • Support the design and development of powertrain systems (engine, gearbox, electric machine, inverter, battery, PEB).

  • Ensure compliance with functional specifications, engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and QCT targets.

  • Define, validate, and optimize repair methods, labor times, and spare parts solutions.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product repairability and serviceability.

  • Support the development of technical documentation, spare parts catalogs, and after-sales solutions.

  • Participate in design reviews, validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Advanced English proficiency.

  • Experience in automotive product design and development.

  • Proficiency in CATIA.

  • Knowledge of powertrain systems and engineering drawing standards.

  • Familiarity with repairability, serviceability, and after-sales engineering concepts.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in automotive powertrain engineering.

Understanding of DFMEA and automotive development processes
