
UX Designer I, EU INTech Partner Growth Experience
Job Description
The designer will own experiences across distinct modules — Customer UX (discovery, compatibility verification, and checkout flows), Selling Partner UX (inventory management, promotion optimization, and collaborative planning tools) — each maintaining consistency with Amazon's internal design systems while ensuring high standards of usability and accessibility (A11y).
Key job responsibilities
- Design intuitive product personalization flows integrated into Amazon's marketplace, including multiple personalisation entry points (search, detail pages, navigation, checkout)
- Create progressive disclosure patterns that manage technical complexity for both novice and expert users
- Design real-time compatibility verification experiences with clear, non-technical explanations
- Develop smart filtering systems that dynamically adjust based on user selections
- Design budget optimization interfaces with transparent cost breakdowns
- Create inventory management, promotion optimization, and collaborative planning tools for vendors and retail teams
- Deliver high-fidelity prototypes, user flows, usability testing plans, stakeholder presentations, and responsive specifications
- Conduct desk research and remote user research independently to inform design decisions
- Support marketplace-specific regulations (EU initially, with global expansion)
- Design mobile-first responsive patterns across all modules
Amazon is building an innovative product personalisation platform that enables customers to discover and select perfectly matched products through AI-powered recommendations, real-time compatibility verification,
- 4+ years of design experience
- Portfolio demonstrating e-commerce or product configuration/customisation design work
- Experience working within established design systems and contributing to component libraries
- Ability to translate technical concepts and data relationships into user-friendly interfaces
- Experience delivering high-fidelity prototypes, user flows, and design documentation
- Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design patterns
- Experience translating complex technical relationships into intuitive user experiences
- Experience with product personalisation or compatibility-driven commerce experiences
- Experience with both B2C and B2B platform design
- Exposure to data visualization or dashboard design
- Experience supporting or conducting user research (desk research and remote methods)
- Experience in stakeholder management and confident advocacy for users with immediate leadership
- Experience partnering with UX, Product, Engineering, and Research teams in a large organization
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (A11y) and inclusive design practices
- Experience designing for multi-marketplace or multi-locale platforms
- Portfolio examples of progressive disclosure in technically complex domains
