Job Description
Powder Coater-A Shift
Requirements:
- Mask prep parts prior to Paint
- Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
- Packs finished product for shipment.
- Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements
Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.
- Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
- Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.
- Must be available to train on A shift prior to moving to C shift
- Must have 1 year minimum powder coating or industrial coating experience
Physical Requirements:
Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs. of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Bending body downward and forward at the waist. Standing for sustained periods of time. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.
Hours: A Shift 7 AM-3:30 PM
