Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The Solutions Engineer will be a responsible for selling Viavi Solutions HSE and NPTS products in LATAM. This role involves managing the partner ecosystem, directing and supporting their selling activity, understanding customer needs, demonstrating solutions, and providing technical guidance to ensure successful deployments and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales and partners to identify customer requirements and propose appropriate Viavi Solutions offerings.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements for prospective and existing customers.
• Provide expert technical consultation and guidance to customers on Viavi Solutions' product portfolio, including network testing, monitoring, and assurance solutions.
• Assist customers with solution design, implementation planning, and integration into their existing infrastructure.
• Develop and deliver technical training to customers and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide advanced support to resolve customer problems.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to represent Viavi Solutions.
• Provide feedback to product management and engineering teams on customer requirements and market trends.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Viavi Solutions' products, technologies, and competitive landscape.
• Prepare technical documentation, including solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and best practice guides.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a solutions engineering, pre-sales engineering, or technical support role within the telecommunications or networking industry.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, MPLS, 5G, Fiber Optics, etc.) and network architectures.
• Proven experience with network testing, monitoring, and assurance tools and methodologies.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Mexico and occasionally internationally.
• Experience with Viavi Solutions' products or similar industry-leading tools is a significant advantage.
