Allegro MicroSystems is a Nasdaq-listed global leader in power and sensing solutions, and we are looking for a high-impact Sales Account Manager to drive our long-term growth in China.
In this pivotal role, you will lead our engagement with major car OEMs (such as Geely and Chery) to build deep partnerships and influence their future technical roadmaps. You won't just be selling components; you will be a regional architect of growth, working closely with our Business Units to define the next generation of products for xEV Powertrain, Chassis, and E/E architectures. What You’ll Do
Lead Strategic OEM Engagement: Build and explore deep partnerships with key OEMs and their internal Tier 1s in East China. You will be the primary point of contact for defining long-term collaboration.
Influence the Roadmap: Understand the technical roadmaps of leading OEMs and ensure Allegro’s product portfolios are designed into their next-generation platforms.
Drive Regional Strategy: Partner with Global Business Units to develop promotion strategies and implementation plans that secure Allegro’s dominance in emerging automotive applications.
Identify Growth Areas: Proactively figure out emerging applications and market trends, aligning with BUs to define the competitive technology roadmap for China.
Collaborative Selling: Provide technical expertise through sales presentations and demonstrations, working seamlessly with FAEs and Business Development teams.
Champion New Business: Find and develop new OEM/Tier 1 partners to expand Allegro's footprint in the xEV and advanced electronic architectures space.
Execute with Impact: Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to implement localized sales strategies that reflect the fast-paced nature of the Chinese automotive market.
Who You Are
Industry Expert: You hold a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical, Electronic, or Automotive Engineering.
Proven Track Record: You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the semiconductor or automotive industry, specifically in roles such as Business Development Manager or Account Sales.
OEM Relationship Builder: You possess rich experience in direct engagement with car OEMs, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build long-term trust.
Strategic Thinker: You have highly developed strategic thinking and "storytelling" skills, with the ability to translate technical value into compelling business cases.
Automotive Tech-Savvy: You have a solid understanding of automotive systems, specifically for xEV Powertrain, Chassis, and E/E architectures.
Bilingual Communicator: You are fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, both locally and globally.
Proactive Leader: You demonstrate strong ownership and a "One Allegro" teamwork mindset, thriving in a fast-changing and competitive environment.
