Job Description

About SiTime

SiTime is the Precision Timing company. Timing is the heartbeat of all electronics, ensuring performance, resilience and scalability. For decades, quartz devices, non-silicon technology, have kept systems in sync, but they struggle in harsher, more demanding environments. MEMS-based Precision Timing delivers greater accuracy, smaller size and resilience. Today, MEMS timing powers over 400 applications, including high-growth ones in AI datacenters, automated driving, industrial and humanoid robots, wearables and IoT.

Our semiconductor MEMS programmable solutions offer a rich feature set that enables customers to differentiate their products with higher performance, smaller size, lower power, and better reliability. With more than 4 billion devices shipped, SiTime is changing the timing industry. For more information, visit SiTime’s career page and company website.

Job Summary

SiTime is seeking a hands-on Finance Transformation Architect to design, build, and operationalize AI agents and automation solutions that transform accounting and finance processes across the organization. This role sits within the Finance & Accounting organization and partners closely with Finance leadership, the Corporate Controller, IT/Data, and internal controls stakeholders to improve efficiency, control, and insight across processes such as procure-to-pay, record-to-report, close, reconciliations, reporting, and analytics. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering and systems thinking with practical finance process knowledge and a bias for secure, auditable, and scalable automation. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end agentic workflows that coordinate tasks across systems including Oracle Cloud ERP, close and reconciliation tools, reporting platforms, shared drives, and collaboration tools.
  • Develop and iterate AI agents that can interpret documents and transactions, reason over business rules, propose actions, and execute approved activities in a controlled manner.
  • Leverage Oracle Cloud ERP capabilities and integration patterns, including APIs, web services, and reporting extracts, to ground automation in authoritative finance data.
  • Partner with RPA resources and adjacent technical teams to integrate AI agents with existing automation solutions and ensure reliable execution and operational support.
  • Embed strong governance, controls, and SOX-ready guardrails into every workflow, including access controls, segregation of duties, approvals, audit trails, retention, and evidence capture.
  • Work with Finance Data and IT teams to define how agents retrieve trusted business context such as policies, procedures, mappings, contracts, and historical support while honoring confidentiality and least-privilege access.
  • Define evaluation criteria for agents including accuracy, timeliness, exception rates, and quality of outcomes, and implement monitoring, alerting, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Translate finance requirements into technical specifications and delivery backlogs, leading pilots from concept through production deployment.
  • Create user playbooks, SOP updates, and training materials to support change management and adoption across global Finance and Accounting teams.
  • Partner with IT and Information Security teams to ensure responsible AI practices, privacy, security, model governance, and compliance with company policies.
  • Own high-impact finance automation use cases such as procurement request support, AP exception triage, close assistance, journal entry support, intercompany matching, management reporting support, and audit evidence collection.

Qualifications & Requirements (Education must be included):

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering, automation architecture, data and analytics engineering, or AI solution delivery, including experience building production-grade AI, copilots, or agentic workflows.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns including APIs, events, ETL/ELT, authentication and authorization, and secure system design.
  • Practical experience implementing workflow automation with clear operational support models, including monitoring, runbooks, and incident triage.
  • Ability to produce clear technical and functional documentation including architecture diagrams, requirements, SOPs, and controls narratives.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Accounting, FP&A, Internal Controls, Audit, and other non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with finance systems and processes, including close, reconciliations, reporting, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, and audit support, is strongly preferred.
  • Oracle Cloud ERP experience is preferred, especially within finance modules such as AP, GL, FA, Cash Management, or Projects, along with familiarity with Oracle reporting and integration tooling.
  • UiPath experience is preferred, including Studio, Orchestrator, Document Understanding, ERP integration patterns, and production bot operations.
  • Experience with close, reconciliation, reporting, or data platforms such as BlackLine, Hyperion/EPM, or Snowflake is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, tool or function calling, evaluation frameworks, and model quality or risk practices is preferred.
  • Experience in SOX, audit, segregation of duties, evidence retention, or other controlled environments is a plus.
  • It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

Desired Characteristics & Attributes:

  • Demonstrates the ability to translate ambiguous finance process pain points into clear requirements, solution designs, data needs, and governance guardrails.
  • Applies a controls-first mindset that emphasizes auditability, approvals, explainability, and evidence capture without unnecessary complexity.
  • Acts as a pragmatic builder who prioritizes existing platform capabilities first and extends with custom components only where needed.
  • Designs with operational reliability in mind, including monitoring, fallback paths, support processes, and issue resolution.
  • Works collaboratively across Finance, Accounting, IT, Data, Internal Controls, and Security teams in a global environment.
  • Communicates technical concepts clearly and credibly to business stakeholders and senior leadership.
