Looking for a finance role where your insights genuinely drive executive decisions?We are looking for a forward-thinking Business Controller to partner with our IM business. In this role, you will hold a key seat in driving our organization's profitability and supporting management with rock-solid decision-making data.
Scope and Complexity: The IM business operates across the Nordic cluster, encompassing four distinct countries and four different currencies. This role requires navigating and reporting on this multi-currency environment, providing an exciting challenge and significant exposure to diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities
As our Business Controller, your work will revolve around two core pillars: Performance Management & Continuous Optimization and Strategic Partnering & Insightful Reporting
1. Performance Management & Optimization
Performance Monitoring: Monitor operational and financial performance monthly against established targets, leveraging real-time performance dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI) to track execution.
Unlock Profitability: Use data modeling and analytical skills to spot opportunities for cost optimization and margin expansion. You will compare business cases against actual achievements to ensure we stay on course.
Target Setting & Review: Manage the target-setting process for key operational KPIs based on historical data, market analysis, and growth projections, and conduct regular reviews to adapt targets for continuous improvement.
Promote Best Practices: Ensure financial discipline and adherence to standard business rules and benchmarking across our initiatives and projects.
Empower Managers: Provide Managers with the critical financial visibility and insights they need to successfully run their areas of responsibility.
2. Strategic Business Partnering & Reporting
Be the Voice of the Numbers: Provide high-level financial insights and compelling "storytelling" behind the data to support strategic, long-term decision-making.
Drive Business Planning: Take an active role in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and forecasting processes (including Target setting, Reforecasts, and variance analyses).
Partner with Leadership: Work closely with Cluster Management, Financial Business Partners (FBPs), and the CFO to align operational performance with Group-level strategy.
Proactive Course Correction: Proactively identify significant deviations in strategic performance and confidently propose immediate corrective actions to management.

What You Bring to the Team
To thrive in this role, you should have a solid financial foundation combined with excellent people skills and a proactive mindset. More specifically, we are looking for:
Your Experience & Professional Toolkit:
Financial Expertise: Strong experience in financial analysis, data modeling, and reporting. You genuinely understand how operational actions and levers impact the P&L and other business KPIs.
Tech-Savvy Mindset: Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and presentation tools. Experience with SAP and Power BI is considered a big plus.
Structured & Analytical: A highly structured way of working, backed by strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex data.
Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required. Fluency in any of the Nordic languages is a strong advantage.

The "Translator": Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to simplify complex financial data into clear, understandable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
Collaborative Influencer: Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust and influence decision-making across borders (transversal collaboration between Countries and the Group) without direct authority.
