What will you be doing?
We are currently recruiting a Technical Field Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting surgical procedures, ensuring the effective use of our products in clinical environments, and delivering a high standard of service to our healthcare partners.
What will you need to be successful?
- Provide hands-on clinical support during surgical procedures
- Ensure the correct preparation, handling, and delivery of surgical instruments and medical devices
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and hospital teams to understand case requirements
- Support the safe and efficient execution of procedures in operating theatre environments
- Coordinate daily surgical schedules and ensure readiness of required materials
- Communicate effectively with clinical stakeholders on case-specific needs
- Verify hospital charge sheets and ensure accurate post-procedure documentation
- Manage the return, sterilisation, and handling of surgical instruments and materials
- Support the full sales cycle through accurate documentation and coordination
- Manage delivery notes, invoicing, and return processes
- Ensure accurate tracking of orders, charging, and collections
- Gather insights on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity
- Identify opportunities for business growth and service improvement
- Support product training and clinical education initiatives
- Assist with inventory planning to ensure product availability
- Communicate future resource requirements to support operational efficiency
Successful candidates would need the following:
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences, Nursing, or a related field
- Strong understanding of anatomy and surgical procedures
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure operating room environments
- Excellent communication skills as well as fluency in English
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and accountability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Teams
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
