Job Description
Job Overview:
The IT SOX Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative, planning and technical support in the IT auditing process & General Computer Control activities at the organization while working with the IT SOX Compliance Lead on risk assessments, readiness, and process/control improvement initiatives & SOX compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with control owners and operators to ensure quality, consistency, and operability of new and existing controls are met.
Provide technical support in the assessment, design, and implementation of ITGC (Information Technology General Controls) requirements.
Review control evidence for adherence to accuracy, completeness, and precision of control execution for all ITGC’s
Ensuring all ITS Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Processes and Workflows are maintained and updated accordingly.
Collaborate and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Working with ITS team and stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
Keep management and audit team informed of status of each project in a timely and scheduled manner
Ability to manage a comprehensive testing and review calendar, ensuring participating business units and testers are aware and completing tasks on time.
Performing general administrative functions in support of reviews, control testing and audit activities
Recipe for Success:
Completion of college diploma
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role with exposure to technology administration
Knowledge of SOX 404 and ITGC requirements
Strong in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
Strong IT technical skills and ability to learn.
Highly effective and efficient in being an audit liaison role between IT SMEs, the business, and auditors.
Proficient in assessing effectiveness in ITGC controls based on COBIT.
Be a trusted advisor for IT team in managing the designing and implementation of controls for risk mitigation and issue remediation.
Organized and effective in keeping track of threads of multiple audit projects at any given time
A self-starter and can complete tasks with minimum supervision.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are highly desired.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong working proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, ERP Systems
