RF Systems Engineer
Position Overview
An experienced RF Systems Engineer to lead the definition, design, and verification of RF functionalities in our products. In this role, you will work closely with hardware, software, and test teams to ensure high-performance, reliable, and high-quality RF solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop RF architecture for company products.
- Design and implement RF subsystems, including RF front-end circuits, LNAs, and filtering solutions.
- Select, position, and optimize antennas as part of the overall system design.
- Design and analyze signal reception chains from the air interface to baseband frequencies, at least at the subsystem level.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate RF interference in both RX and TX paths.
- Select and evaluate RF components, including filters, amplifiers, and related circuitry.
- Perform RF testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, software, and test engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of RF technologies used in mobile networks (2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G).
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication technologies.
- Understanding of GNSS signals and the use of GNSS-based timing.
- Solid understanding of RF signal propagation and behavior.
- Experience selecting and integrating RF components.
- Experience with RF amplification systems in the approximately 30–45 dBm power range.
- Ability to make practical engineering decisions and balance performance, cost, complexity, and other design trade-offs.
