As a member of the Retrofit, Modification, and Upgrade (RMU) Center of Excellence you will be responsible for driving short and long-cycle decoupled growth through robust pipeline management and Aftermarket (AM) product development and certification. The RMU COE develops and certifies Aftermarket solutions for all channels (Air Transport, Business & General Aviation, and Defense).
RMU COE is looking for a Program Manager to lead RMU Programs for the Aerospace Technologies Avionics, Nav &Sensors, and Engine Upgrades and Grow the Pipeline with various airlines, MROs, and other ATR customers. The Program Manager will have direct responsibility to complete certification of RMU offerings, working closely with Customers, Engineering, Technical Sales, Customer Business Teams (CBTs) and the larger Integrated Product Teams (IPT). You will also work with Offering and PAC Leaders to grow the Pipeline. You will work under supervision of the RMU ATR Program Director, execute development programs of significant size & complexity to achieve scope, schedule, cost, delivery, and quality requirements while demonstrating mastery of program management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support CBT, GBE, and Sales with Aftermarket pursuits, delivering competitive Quote Estimates in a timely manner to drive pipeline growth.
- Apply critical thinking to ensure the correct certification strategy is applied before kickoff for each program.
- Establish, maintain, and lead the IPT, including execution of program plans, enabling processes, and deploying Program Management Operating Systems to integrate and drive program performance to meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Communicate timely, accurate, and effective program status and actions to customers and internal organizations.
- Establish and maintain program milestones, risk register, and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for each program.
- Develop professional relationships with leadership, decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers and maintain excellent relationships with all levels of the matrix organization.
- Responsible for the annual operating plan (AOP) achievement for the ATR Aftermarket Portfolio goals.
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field
- Minimum 6 years’ experience and expertise within technical or business field within aerospace sector
WE VALUE
- Familiarity with project management tools including Microsoft Project and JIRA
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts accurately to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented
- Familiarity with Honeywell Aerospace aftermarket products/offerings
- Experience working with airlines and other ATR customers
- Strong business/financial acumen and understanding of financials
- Experience with Project Engineering
- Familiarity with the Honeywell Integrated Product Delivery and Support (IPDS)
- Demonstrated behavior to embrace challenges in order to deliver results that exceed baseline goals/targets
- Self-starter who solves problems and gets results with limited supervision in a matrixed environment
The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000- 170,000 in Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
