Job Description
YOUR ROLE
- SAP system and database management: Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance, including upgrades and patches and system refreshes.
- System monitoring and optimization: Monitor performance analyse logs, and perform tuning activities to ensure system stability and uptime.
- Troubleshooting and support: Resolve technical issues, collaborating with teams for quick solutions.
- Security and compliance: Ensure system security and compliance with company policies.
- Documentation and development support: Maintain system documentation, operational dashboards, and SOPs.
- Continuous improvement: Contribute to disaster recovery planning and stay updated on SAP trends and technologies.
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of SAP experience: Experience in SAP Basis administration, operations, and performance management across SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, etc.).
- Technical expertise: Solid understanding of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA architecture, migrations, and system copy procedures.
- Database & OS: Hands-on with SAP HANA, Oracle, or MSSQL databases, and Linux/UNIX and Windows systems.
- Cloud and infrastructure: Experience with SAP HEC or RISE environments and good understanding of cloud/virtualization.
- Education and language skills: University degree, fluent in English and/or German (both written and spoken).
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in international, cross-functional teams.
