Group IT SaaS - Data Engineer

Type of contract: Employment contract
Salary range: 13900-21270 PLN gross/month

What will you do?

You will work within a BI and Data Warehouse team, building and optimizing enterprise analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs, design scalable models, and support data-driven decision making, while continuously improving architecture and adopting modern cloud and AI capabilities.

Your tasks

• Design and maintain enterprise data models and semantic layers
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and define KPIs
• Develop and optimize data pipelines using Azure and SQL technologies
• Build and manage Power BI datasets and support analytics solutions
• Ensure data quality, governance, and secure access across systems
• Optimize performance of queries, models, and data processing
• Support key users and improve existing reporting environments
• Adapt solutions to evolving technologies within Microsoft Fabric ecosystem
  

Your skills

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
• Very good knowledge of SQL and T-SQL
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and ETL or ELT processes
• Strong understanding of data modelling and BI architectures
• Experience with DAX and building semantic models
• Knowledge of performance optimization in Power BI and SQL
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices
• Ability to work with stakeholders and translate business needs into data solutions
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools
  

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Query or M language
• Knowledge of Git and version control practices
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 integrations
• Skills in data visualization and storytelling
• Experience with Azure Key Vault or service principals
• Exposure to AI adoption initiatives in data teams
