Job Description
About Tricentis
At Tricentis, we’re redefining what’s possible in software testing and quality engineering. Our AI-driven, codeless, and continuous testing platform empowers enterprises to accelerate innovation, deliver higher-quality releases, and transform digital velocity at scale.
Recognized as a global leader by Gartner, Forrester, and IDC, Tricentis partners with the world’s largest and most innovative companies. We’re a team of curious learners, ambitious achievers, and collaborative competitors who believe in constant growth—both for our customers and ourselves.
If you’re motivated by challenge, feedback, and the pursuit of excellence, you’ll thrive here.
About the Role
As Vice President of Go-to-Market Strategy, Analytics & Business Intelligence, you will serve as the executive leader for data-driven decision-making across our global GTM organization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role reporting to the CFO, partnering directly with the C-suite and senior leadership across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Customer Success to reshape how Tricentis measures performance, forecasts growth, and acts on insight.
This leader will be the driving force behind an AI-powered transformation of Tricentis’ analytics and reporting capabilities—moving the organization from reactive, largely spreadsheet-based reporting toward predictive, automated, and self-service intelligence. You will build and lead a world-class team, influence executive strategy across the Tricentis organization, and ensure every major GTM decision is grounded in reliable, timely data.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CRO, CMO, CFO, and other C-suite leaders on GTM performance, market opportunities, and risk—acting as a key voice in Tricentis executive leadership forums, QBRs, and board presentations
- Build and maintain trusted relationships across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, RevOps, and Customer Success—serving as the connective tissue that aligns analytics efforts and drives a single source of truth across the Tricentis organization
- Lead a company-wide AI-driven transformation of analytics and reporting infrastructure, defining and executing a multi-year roadmap to shift from manual reporting to automated, predictive, and self-service intelligence
- Champion adoption of AI-assisted forecasting, anomaly detection, natural language querying, and generative BI tools; drive change management to embed data-driven decision-making at every level of the Tricentis organization
- Design and own Tricentis’s GTM performance management framework, including pipeline analytics, revenue forecasting, win/loss analysis, marketing attribution, and customer health scoring
- Lead, recruit, and develop a world-class team of analysts, data scientists, and BI engineers; establish center-of-excellence practices including data governance and self-service enablement to scale analytics across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive analytics, business intelligence, or revenue operations experience, with at least 5 years in a VP or senior director leadership role within a global B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment; demonstrated success leading AI or data transformation programs at scale
- Proven track record of cross-functional executive influence—aligning C-suite and board-level stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Customer Success on analytical narratives and driving organization-wide adoption of data-driven decision-making
- Exceptional change management capabilities: experience managing the human side of analytics transformation across a global, matrixed organization, including communication strategy, stakeholder enablement, and executive alignment
- Deep technical fluency with modern BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Sigma), cloud data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks), and AI/ML applications in a GTM analytics context
- Deep experience in GTM analytics domains including pipeline management, revenue forecasting, marketing attribution, territory design, and customer lifecycle analytics; ability to synthesize complex data into executive-level narratives
- Strong business acumen with ability to understand and dissect key SaaS metrics leveraging multiple quantitative and qualitative data sources; strategic partner mindset, not just an analytics executor
- Excellent executive communication and storytelling skills—able to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that drive action at the board and C-suite level
- Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and influence executive-level stakeholders across a matrixed global organization; leads through influence and commands a seat at the Tricentis leadership table
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to operate seamlessly across all levels of the Tricentis organization, from field teams to the executive team
- Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills; experience deploying AI/ML-powered forecasting and anomaly detection models in production GTM environments
- Experienced people leader with a track record of building, scaling, and retaining world-class analytics teams; creates cultures of curiosity, rigor, and business impact
- Experience operating in a high-growth, global enterprise software environment; ability to foresee organizational needs, prioritize strategically, and deliver both quick wins and long-term transformation
- Professional attitude, executive presence, and service orientation; a collaborative leader who earns trust across the Tricentis organization and brings people along through change
Education & Experience
- 10+ years of business, analytical, and technical experience, with significant tenure in VP-level or equivalent executive leadership roles including leading globally distributed teams
- BS/BA in Business/Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
- MBA, MS in Applied Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent advanced analytical training strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of the full stack of modern data analytics, engineering, and AI/ML—including cloud data platforms, real-time data pipelines, BI tooling, predictive modeling, and AI-assisted analytics deployment at enterprise scale
Travel
- Occasional travel may be required (up to 10%)
