Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-level Production Operations Specialist to join the team in Ridley Park, PA!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Cost Account manager by analyzing cost, schedule and EAC metrics, with a focus on earned value and variance analyses.
  • Responsible for EAC development and Maintenance for Build Team
  • Support the Manufacturing Build Team in operational decisions and provide advice on enhancing Earned Value Management.
  • Generate and process Change Documents (CDs) to request budget and/or EAC due to contractual scope growth and/or work movement
  • Assist with the generation of Basic Factory Labor estimates for new contract proposals
  • Support Engineering Change Control Board (ECCB) as the Build Team Representative
  • Support Tool Design Reviews as the Build Team Representative
  • Update and distribute monthly Operations EVM metrics
  • Regularly interact with senior and executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the program.
  • Significantly interface with Program Managers, Contracts and Senior Technical Personnel, as well as other organizations

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business related discipline or Industrial Engineering
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience in baseline budget distribution and Cost Account Structure management
  • Experience generating and or managing Estimate at Completion (EAC)
  • Experience generating and or managing Risks, Issues, and Opportunities (RIO)
  • Prior CAM support experience 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Graduate or Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years related work experience
  • Experience with Finance systems (CSPR, PMAS, ECDA, CLAS, etc)
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus

Summary pay range: USD Mid-level (Level 3) $96,900 - $131,100
