The Community Outreach Coordinator leads and coordinates external Mindfulness in Motion initiatives for the Center for Integrative Health (CIH). It builds and sustains strategic partnerships with senior medical and administrative leaders across healthcare systems, organizations, and associations at the local, regional, and national levels. The Community Outreach Coordinator develops long-term professional relationships with industry and medical partners and initiates collaborations that expand the reach of CIH—particularly the Mindfulness in Motion program. Responsibilities include supporting program growth through supervision, administrative coordination, oversight, quality assurance, and joint marketing and branding efforts. The role also serves as the primary liaison between CIH and the OSU marketing team, working collaboratively to execute marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives that promote CIH services and community offerings.
Experience or knowledge in Integrative Medicine, mindfulness, or yoga preferred; knowledge of medical terminology desired; computer skills required with experience using Microsoft Software applications. Evidence of progressively responsible experience in healthcare and proven ability to build consensus, listen and manage customer, facilitator, and other staff issues, and work with complex groups and systems is desired.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Allied Medicine, Health Education, Public Health or related field. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
