Development Services Inspector – Rental Housing

Performs inspections of residential and commercial rental housing for determining compliance with requirements of the Ann Arbor Housing Ordinance along with any applicable codes, ordinances, standards and regulations. This position is conducted in the field and office. The rental housing inspector will conduct inspections, provide notices of violations, follow the inspection process to completion, communicate effectively with customers & participate in court proceedings. This role will require the ability to pay attention to detail & be consistent in applying the housing ordinance.
