Job Description

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Third Party Engineer to join our Corporate Engineering team supporting People Team. This role is located in PUNE

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Serve as a Functional Consultant for Oracle Fusion US Payroll with 10+ years of relevant experience in payroll implementations and support with configuration activities, ensuring solutions are aligned with business and compliance requirements.

  • Analyze business issues, identify root causes, and provide effective functional solutions to resolve payroll-related challenges.

  • Manage and support payroll elements configuration, payroll entries setup, and related payroll processing activities.

  • Perform and support HDL data loads, including payroll elements entries, and other payroll-related data.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll issues in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and business continuity, adoption of Oracle-delivered functionality and best practices to improve payroll operations and reduce customizations.

  • Partner with payroll business stakeholders to understand process gaps and recommend process improvements and optimization opportunities.

  • Experience with USOPTE Oracle tax engine. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, technical teams, and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless payroll operations.

  • Support testing activities such as SIT, UAT, regression testing, and payroll validation to ensure successful solution delivery.

     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • 10+ years of functional consulting experience in Oracle Payroll, with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion US Payroll delivered functionality and the ability to recommend standard solutions and best practices.

  • Shift timing 12noon - 10pm IST

  • Hands-on experience in US Payroll configuration, including payroll definitions, balances, elements, fast formulas, payroll processing and report writing using BI/OTBI.

  • Strong experience with HDL for payroll-related data loads, conversions, and mass updates.

  • Proven experience in payroll elements and element entries load and related payroll data management activities.

  • Strong understanding of payroll business processes, issues, and controls, with the ability to translate business needs into functional solutions including troubleshooting and resolving payroll issues effectively.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project and support environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science with Oracle Fusion Payroll certification is preferred.
