We are DSC Transport – Own Fleet Operations, managing and supporting a growing fleet to deliver reliable and efficient transportation services. As our operations continue to expand, we are strengthening our team to ensure high standards of fleet performance, safety, and service delivery. We are looking for a dedicated Technical Assistant to support our expanding fleet operations and contribute to maintaining operational excellence
Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining company fleet (trucks and vehicles)
- Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance and repair works
- Perform routine inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
- Support daily fleet operations, including vehicle readiness and deployment
- Handle breakdown cases and liaise with vendors/workshops for timely repairs
- Monitor service intervals and ensure maintenance is completed on time
- Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, and incidents
- Assist in investigating vehicle faults and support root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor spare parts usage and support inventory tracking
- Prepare basic reports on fleet condition, maintenance status, and downtime
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fleet performance and reduce
Requirements
Diploma or certificate in Automotive / Mechanical or related field
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Proficient in basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Able to work in Shah Alam
