Lab Technician

Duties of this job include, but are not limited to: Understand and follow laboratory SOPs prior to implementation. Learn, establish and execute SOPs. Understand the basic operation of laboratory equipment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload. Sample preparation, testing, and data acquisition. Perform testing, metals on ICP, COD, and volatile solvents on Gas Chromatography; Ensure test equipment is clean, maintained, and in good working order. Run Metals for Hourly Compliance samples which the operator brings to the Lab. Collect, prepare and send compliance Samples to outside Lab Twice a month.
