ABOUT YOU: 
We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator with a strong technical background and an eye for accuracy. You’ll work closely with our Application Engineers to review mechanical and electrical plans, build quotations, prepare submittals, and support the configuration of our gas detection systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with technical drawings and has a knack for pulling together information to create clear and accurate proposals. You don’t need to have gas detection experience — just bring your problem-solving mindset and we’ll handle the training. 


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Review mechanical and electrical drawings and project specifications 
  • Prepare accurate quotations based on customer requirements and system designs 
  • Develop and format submittal packages and wiring diagrams for projects 
  • Assist Application Engineers with system configurations and shop drawings 


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Technical diploma, engineering degree, or equivalent experience 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret construction and engineering drawings 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills 


BONUS EXPERIENCE: 

  • Familiarity with gas detection, HVAC, or low-voltage systems 
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Visio, or other drafting tools 
  • Previous estimating experience in construction or technical sales environments
