About the role

The Residential Engineer 2 provides maintenance, service and repairs to residential equipment including electrical, plumbing, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, painting and decorating. Additionally, they complete preventive maintenance tasks and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum Residential satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ guidelines and policies.

What you will do

  • Complete preventative maintenance of equipment and update appropriate logs.

  • Diagnose and/or assist with repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.

  • Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, kitchen equipment, motors, laundry equipment and building systems.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations with a high level of timeliness, hospitality, and professionalism.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building equipment, fixtures, and common area.

  • Complete service requests, preventative maintenance tasks, and engineering projects accurately and on time.

  • Respond to and manage emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, floods, leaks, etc. 

  • Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools and equipment.

  • Install or relocate equipment as needed.

  • Perform plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks and cleaning clogged drains.

  • Carry out general building maintenance, including painting, wall repair, and door and exterior surface upkeep.

  • Build and maintain a positive, professional with residents, guests, coworkers, and vendors/contractors.

What you bring

  • Experience required by position is from 3 to 4 years of employment in a related position with Four Seasons or other organization.
  • Technical and trade skills such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, hardware, flooring, etc. preferred.
  • Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.
  • Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and be on feet for majority of shift (includes stair/ladder climbing)
