Position Summary

As a Sommelier at Atria, you play a central role in delivering a refined and memorable dining experience within one of Melbourne’s leading fine dining destinations. Your passion for wine, paired with a deep understanding of food and service, allows you to guide guests through curated selections that elevate every moment of their visit. At Atria, you’ll be part of a team that values precision, creativity, and genuine hospitality—offering you the opportunity to grow your expertise in a sophisticated and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the restaurant service period, tending to the guests and exceeding their expectations
Answer guest questions regarding all beverage related items including but not limited to origin, vintage and style of various wines.
Create wine lists showcasing your inner creativity and maintain respective inventories
Conduct training sessions to increase the beverage knowledge of all team members
Serve and connect with guests throughout the complete food and beverage experience
Understand guest requirements, delivering service excellence with each guest experience
Assist with the bar operational tasks if required
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests, exhibiting our legendary service and enabling future bookings
