Principal - Architecture

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership and technical teams on AWS cloud strategy architecture and best practices
• Lead cloud assessments readiness evaluations and roadmap development for AWS adoption and optimization
• Design secure scalable and cost-effective AWS architectures for new workloads migrations and hybrid environments
• Provide technical leadership during cloud transformation initiatives including application modernization and replatforming
• Collaborate with DevOps security and infrastructure teams to ensure end to end solution integrity
• Conduct architecture reviews risk assessments and performance tuning for AWS workloads
• Guide clients on governance compliance and operational excellence in the AWS cloud
• Support business case development TCO analysis and cloud cost optimization strategies
• Stay current with AWS service updates and emerging cloud technologies to inform client recommendations
• Mentor internal teams and contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science engineering or related field
• 12 years of experience in IT with at least 3-5 years in AWS cloud architecture and consulting roles
• Strong understanding of AWS core services EC2 S3 VPC IAM RDS Lambda ECSEKS CloudFormation etc
• Experience with cloud migration modernization strategies rehost replatform refactor and tools AWS Migration Hub DMS etc
• Familiarity with AWS best practices and methodologies such as Well
• Architected Framework AWS CAF security best practices and compliance standards
• Working knowledge of software engineering and DevOps
• Excellent communication stakeholder management and presentation skills
• Ability to engage and advise senior and executive leadership
• Experience of working in Banking or Financial Services or Insurance regulatory environments
