Office Specialist, Senior
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of clerical, secretarial, and administrative duties in support of departmental operations. This role provides essential office support by maintaining records, coordinating communications, processing documents, and assisting with day-to-day administrative functions to ensure efficient and effective operations.
This is a non-exempt position in salary grade 155: Min – $29.89 | Mid – $35.51 | Max – $41.13/hour. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications.

What You’ll Do
- Perform a wide range of clerical, secretarial, and administrative support duties
- Answer phones, direct calls, respond to inquiries, and assist visitors
- Sort and distribute mail and coordinate outgoing correspondence
- Schedule appointments, meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
- Maintain office files, logs, records, and documentation systems
- Track expense accounts and maintain routine financial records
- Enter data into spreadsheets and perform basic calculations and recordkeeping tasks
- Order, inventory, and maintain office supplies and materials
- Operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, calculators, and other business tools
- Compile records and prepare reports using information from a variety of sources

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Related clerical, administrative, or office support experience desirable
