Job Description

The Coordinator of Special Projects is a full-time, dual-function role at TCAT Shelbyville. This position combines project management (60%) and classroom instruction (40%). The successful candidate will coordinate institutional initiatives for the President while teaching Technology Foundations courses to adult and high school students across multiple campuses. Applicants should be equally comfortable managing projects, analyzing data, and teaching in a classroom environment. The Coordinator allocates approximately 60% of time to special projects coordination and 40% to instruction in Technology Foundations courses, delivering foundational skills in computer applications, digital literacy, and data interpretation to support student success.

The position serves as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements are met while supporting institutional effectiveness through data-informed decision-making.
