Job Description

Position Overview We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with a strong focus on Accounts Payable to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting overall financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and coding Manage vendor setup, maintenance, and communications Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Prepare and execute weekly check runs and electronic payments Maintain organized and audit-ready AP files and documentation Assist with month-end close, including accrals and account reconciliations Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls Support internal and external audits as needed Collaborate with department leaders to ensure proper expense tracking Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1–3+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience (hospitality preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in hotel or resort accounting Familiarity with ERP or AP automation systems Understanding of accrual accounting and financial reporting Why Join Omni Hotels & Resorts?
