We’re on the hunt for a hands-on Technical Engineer & Training Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, field-focused environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine technical expertise, training, and problem-solving while making a real impact on how installations are delivered across the business.

You’ll be the go-to expert - supporting complex installations, troubleshooting hardware issues and delivering training to partners and customers, and driving excellence in installation quality and standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

Get Hands-On with Technical Challenges

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and installation issues
• Support engineers, partners, and customers both onsite and remotely
• Step in to resolve escalations and ensure everything runs smoothly
• Diagnose issues and get systems up and running with confidence

Train, Guide & Inspire

• Deliver engaging, practical training to engineers, partners, and customers
• Help internal teams understand products and installations
• Create clear, easy-to-follow installation guides and materials

Drive Quality & Standards

• Carry out installation audits and quality checks
• Set the benchmark for installation excellence across multiple vendors
• Identify gaps and lead improvements to processes and ways of working

Support Projects & New Technology

• Play a key role in deployments and large customer projects
• Advise on the right hardware for different vehicles and use cases
• Support new product launches, testing, and trials
• Work closely with teams across the business to deliver success
   

About you:

You will be living within a daily commutable distance of the office in Milton Keynes, with a full UK Driving License and willing to travel to customers across the UK.

Your Experience

• Strong background in 12-volt installations into vehicles (e.g. telematics, GPS, alarms, vehicle tech)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (in addition to ‘plug-in’ diagnostics)
• Experience working with vehicles, installations, commissioning or repairs, or similar technical environments
• Confident creating or using technical documentation
• FITAS accredited (or willingness to obtain)
