In search of a Mid-level Associate to join our Banking and Finance practice in Singapore as a member of our Aviation Finance team.
Our aviation finance team is recognised as a market leader in domestic and cross-border transactions. We act for a wide range of borrowers, lenders and investors including airlines, lessors, financial institutions and export credit agencies.
As part of the collaborative and supportive team at Norton Rose Fulbright, you will gain exposure to high-quality matters across multiple jurisdictions, providing an excellent career development opportunity. You will be involved in a diverse range of transactions, predominantly in aviation finance, shipping and offshore financing, as well as aviation-related restructurings.
We are seeking an Associate with strong aviation finance technical expertise and drafting skills, capable of managing aircraft, aircraft sales, leasing, and finance, and leasing and finance matters with appropriate supervision and demonstrating exceptional teamwork. The candidate should possess the ability to develop strategies, understand the commercial aspects of financial transactions, and provide practical, business-oriented advice to our international clients.
Skills and Experience Required
Mid-level (4+ years UK equivalent PQE), qualified in Singapore, England & Wales or their equivalent in a common law jurisdiction.
Prior experience in aviation, leasing, and finance is mandatory.
First class legal and drafting skills.
Excellent case management and organization skills.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and an excellent team player.
Strong academic background.
Acute willingness to learn and to take their experience to the next level.
Demonstrates strong ownership and initiative, approaching tasks proactively with a positive, can-do mindset.
