You will join the new logistics organization as part of Airbus Helicopters Spain.
YOUR CHALLENGES
The Head of Operations Spain is accountable of the End-to-End Logistics Operations of Airbus Helicopters in Spain with the objective to continuously drive operational excellence, to meet internal & external customer needs and to achieve benchmark competitiveness of Airbus Helicopters Global Logistics set up.
The Head of Logistics Operations drives end-to-end performance in performance monitoring and improvement and customer’s satisfaction.
The Head of Logistics Operations develops the competence of the team towards logistics encompassing the implementation.
The first 3 years of this role will focus on launching the Albacete Hub, a strategic pillar of the company's growth.
There are 3 phases: preparation for the entry into service, start and ramp-up of activities and serial stabilization.
YOUR TASKS:
Manage primary Spanish logistics platforms in Albacete, Chinchilla, and Almansa, driving operational efficiency across the regional supply chain.
Direct Logistics Service Provider (LSP) relationships and performance, successfully administering a €20M annual logistics contract.
Ensure uninterrupted service delivery and supply chain continuity for critical internal stakeholders, including Final Assembly Lines, Flight Lines, Centers of Excellence, and Support & Services.
Coordinate global distribution networks, overseeing worldwide shipments while ensuring on-time delivery and international compliance.
