Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration, heat pump, and HVAC equipment
- Responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment such as vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC
- Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License
- Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
- Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.
- Participates in the ongoing training available to our crews to keep updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.
- Strong oral and written communication required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Valid Driver’s license and able to maintain a good driving record.

Geographic Disclosure
Compensation Range: $48.41 - $56.95 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
