Job Description

Overview As the Senior Principal, Product Management, you will set the vision and lead a transformative initiative to centralize Epsilon’s corporate data into a single source of strategic insight. You will own the product strategy for CIP and will rally cross-functional support to turn siloed data into enterprise intelligence. You’ll lead a small product team (including product managers and analysts) and work across Finance, Sales, Product, Operations, and IT to deliver a platform that empowers data-driven decisions at all levels. This high-impact leadership role demands both strategic foresight and hands-on execution. You will ensure CIP continuously delivers value, champion a data-driven culture, and position the platform as a trusted, indispensable tool for Epsilon’s business leaders. Responsibilities Vision & Roadmap: Develop and own the comprehensive product vision and multi-phase roadmap for CIP. Identify and prioritize high-impact analytics use cases (e.g., resource allocation insights, performance scorecards) that align with Epsilon’s objectives. Ensure CIP’s evolution keeps pace with technological advancements in data analytics and AI. Product Execution Oversight: Guide the end-to-end development of CIP data products, from concept through launch and adoption. Work with product managers, data engineering, and analytics teams to build robust data pipelines, integrate key source systems, and deliver intuitive user experiences (e.g., self-service analytics, conversational BI) that unlock insight for non-technical users. Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison to senior business partners. Work closely with leaders in Finance, Operations, Sales, and other departments to capture requirements and align CIP’s deliverables with their strategic needs. Secure collaborators' agreement for CIP’s capabilities, governance model, and rollout plans; keep executives engaged and informed about the platform’s progress and wins. Performance & ROI Management: Define clear success metrics and KPIs for CIP (e.g., user adoption rates, reduced manual reporting, decision-making speed). Monitor and report on these metrics and use data-driven feedback to refine the product strategy. Demonstrate CIP’s value through business outcomes and iterate on the roadmap to improve return on investment. Change Management & Adoption: Drive organization-wide adoption of CIP. Partner with enablement and communications teams to create training programs, demos, and success stories that encourage usage. Address cultural or process barriers to adopting the platform, positioning yourself as a champion for data-driven decision-making across Epsilon. Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends in data, analytics, and AI. Continuously scan for opportunities to enhance CIP’s capabilities – whether by introducing new technologies or improving governance and performance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement on the team, encouraging experimentation and learning to keep CIP at the forefront of innovative enterprise intelligence. Qualifications Strategic Product Leader: You have 8+ years of product management experience, including leading data-intensive or analytics products. You excel at setting a vision for complex products and translating broad business objectives into actionable roadmaps. A track record of driving enterprise data initiatives or BI platforms is highly valued. Cross-Functional Influencer: Outstanding communication and partner management skills. You can engage with C-suite and functional leaders, understand their needs, and inspire them around a data product vision. You are effective at breaking down silos, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving decision-making by consensus. Hands-On: While highly strategic, you aren’t afraid to get involved with the specifics of how things are accomplished. You have experience overseeing development teams or complex projects and can guide a team through planning, development, and launch of new capabilities. You have the discipline to drive projects to completion and the flexibility to adjust course based on feedback. Data & Technology Savvy: Strong understanding of modern data analytics technology (cloud data warehouses/Lakehouses like Databricks or Snowflake, data visualization tools, AI/ML for analytics). You appreciate the possibilities and limitations of data engineering and AI, enabling you to have meaningful technical discussions and make informed, high-level decisions about CIP’s architecture and features. Passionate Change Agent: You are energized by the opportunity to transform how an organization uses data. You have led or been deeply involved in change management efforts – implementing new tools or processes, driving adoption, and measuring success. Resilient and adaptable, you navigate challenges with a positive, forward-looking approach, keeping the team focused on the big picture. Education: Bachelor’s degree required (technical or business field preferred). An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Information Systems) is a plus, reflecting your ability to interface between technical teams and business leadership.
