Role Overview;
You will be working for an industry 4.0 compounding plant in close partnership with Plant Operations, Engineering suppliers of the hardware and software solutions, maintenance and Technology Centers. You will be involved in plant optimization and will guard process control strategy, code, and operator interfaces for capital and small improvement projects as developing new reporting tools in collaboration with other functions. System administrator and IT infrastructure management will be part of your duties.
Responsibilities
Essential Activities
- Develop, simulate and implement the appropriate process control automation strategies and solutions for the process equipment involved.
- Develop functional specifications and Operator Interface graphics when applicable and train operations accordingly.
- Maintain and improve the plant automation IT infrastructure in close collaboration with global IT.
- Develop Process Control Strategy Documentation.
- Be an active member of the operations/engineering team.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Being able to understand improvement opportunities in the plant and translate to PA solutions
- Act as plant focal point for IT/OT troubleshooting, projects and rollouts.
- Improve Process Control performance.
- Give training and startup support on the assigned areas.
- Actively engaged with operations support and or improvement.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills
- Bachelor or Master of Applied Science Degree in Engineering is required. Chemical Engineering, E&I or Mechanical is preferred.
- (Basic) Dutch is preferred
- 3+ years Manufacturing or Engineering experience preferred but we also encourage recently graduated engineers to apply.
