Department: Operating Room Missouri Orthopedic Institute
Compensation:
- Base Pay Range:
- Surg Tech Certified: $32.74 per hour PRN
- Special Pay: Additional $2.50 per hour until June 27, 2026

- Demonstrates appropriate and correct case preparation.
- Establishes and maintains sterile field and assure team maintains sterile environment independently.
- Applies basic knowledge of instrumentations to multiple surgical cases. Corrects deficiencies at the case level.
- Performs technical duties involving care, preparation and maintenance of sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment in the operating rooms in order to provide a safe and effective environment.
- Completes unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or Certified Operating Room Surgical Technician (CORST) certification by National Healthcareer Association (NHA), or Technician in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) certification by National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
