Job Description
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of key components of the Operational Resilience Program
- Demonstrate and maintain a deep understanding of operational resilience industry practices and related regulations (DORA, UK CTP, etc.), staying up-to-date on any changes, and translating these requirements into actionable plans
- Manage delivery in a federated model across business and functional areas to timely and successful outcomes, ensuring alignment of priorities and work across the organization
- 10+ years of experience in operational resilience or risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, information security
- A bachelor’s degree or higher
- Prior management or leadership experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders on operational and technological topics
- Practical knowledge of risks and controls that impact an organization’s resilience posture (e.g., business disruption, damage to assets, system failure)
- Ability to gather and understand feedback from stakeholders, and then apply it to identify problems and create opportunities for efficiencies to improve processes
- Quick learner who can work as a part of a cross-functional team and individually as a self-starter, as well as pivot based in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Sound judgment and an ability to serve as a strategic partner, suggesting new ideas, accepting, and implementing feedback, and advising stakeholders (of all management levels)
- Strong program management skills and track record of successfully leading complex and impactful initiatives
- Expertise in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google sheets, Google slides, Google docs
- Previous experience in operational resilience at a technology or financial services firm, with a knowledge of regulations and industry standards
- Exposure to business’ technical landscape and/or familiarity with financial markets
- Strong collaborator who understands the complexity of entertaining multiple audiences and navigating their diverse interests and goals
